We are looking for a self-motivated, eager-to-learn, easy-to-work-with, Smartphone developer to help 2ergo develop the latest and greatest Smartphone applications for some of the world’s largest brands.
• Develop outstanding Apps that not only exceed client expectations but that push the envelope of what the hardware can do.
• Work with our team of existing Smartphone developers to understand what is possible and help improve our internal systems for developing great bug-free apps.
• Have a strong voice in the development of the apps, but be willing to work with the team to deliver what is needed, when it is needed.
As far as background, we’re looking for experience with Objective C, Android, J2ME, Java, or Symbian with emphasis on the first two. We are an open source shop, so we prefer a Linux or MacOS background and knowledge of the Apple Framework. Knowledge of SQL, especially MySQL, is a big plus as well.
The position will be based in our expanding mid-town office and be working with our team of developers from the UK, Australia, Buenos Aires, and the US; so an ability to get along is important.
You must be a US Citizen or possess a green card, must be fluent in English and must currently reside in the New York City area. We will not sponsor visa candidates nor will we relocate individuals.
